Eligibility deadline for free room drawing is March 28, 2009

Courtesy of the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel, we are very pleased to offer a prize of a free hotel room during the conference.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Those who register for the Conference and the hotel on or before March 28, 2009.

WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE: IAJGS Board members, JGSGP board members, Philly2009 conference committee members, speakers, exhibitors, vendors, and conference staff.

THE PRIZE: One single/double room at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel for four (5) nights during the conference week (August 2-7, 2009). Taxes and tips are not included in the prize.

THE WINNER will be determined by a drawing conducted by the IAJGS during its Spring 2009 board meeting on April 2-3. The winner will be notified by phone or e-mail. This prize cannot be transferred. Should the winner be unable to attend the conference, a drawing will be held from the eligible registrants for a substitute winner.

We are most grateful to the Sheraton for its contribution of this generous prize valued at $945.

Registration
Registrations in advance of the conference must be submitted on-line.

If you have registered on-line, you will be able to check in and pick up your registration materials beginning on Saturday, August 1 (opening time to be announced) at the Conference Registration Desk at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel.  Check-in will resume at 7:30 am on Sunday, August 2, and will continue daily during the conference.

On-Site Registration
On-site registration will commence on Saturday, August 1,  (opening time to be announced) at the Conference Registration Desk at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel. On-site registration will resume at 7:30 am on Sunday, August 2, and will continue daily during the conference.

Early Bird Registration (through April 30, 2009)   

Full:  $250.00 
Companion:  $150.00

Regular Registration (May 1 through July 24, 2009)

Full:  $295.000 
Companion:  $195.00

On-Site Registration (after July 25, 2009)

Full: $325.00
Companion: $225.00

Daily Registration

Sunday, including Opening Reception: $95.00
Monday - Thursday: $75.00 per day
Friday morning: $40.00

NOTE:  To be eligible for the Companion Registration Fee, a companion must reside in the same household as the principal registrant.

We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard credit cards.  We do not accept debit cards or other credit cards.

: If you prefer to pay by check rather than by credit card via our on-line registration system, you may do so. First, register on-line. When you get to the payment section, click the box indicating that you are paying by check. Then, send the check to IAJGS, c/o Michael A. Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation notices and refund requests must be submitted in writing, delivered or addressed to IAJGS, c/o Michael A. Posnick, Treasurer, 2601 Princeton Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55416. The date of submission shall be deemed to be the postmark date or the date of actual receipt, whichever is earlier.

Registrants submitting cancellation notices/refund requests will receive the following refunds:

     For cancellation notices/refund requests submitted before May 1, 2009, full refund of
     all registration fees and all additional charges, less a $35.00 administrative fee.

     For cancellation notices/refund requests submitted after April 30, 2009, and before July 1, 2009,
      full refund of all registration fees and all additional charges, less a $75.00 administrative fee.

     For cancellation notices/refund requests submitted after June 30, 2009, no refunds.

We regret if illness, family emergency, or other reasons mean that you must cancel your registration after June 30, 2009.  We know, however, you will understand that we have incurred obligations to others based upon your registration.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the Cancellation/Refund Policy.
